Panshet is one of the famous picnic spots of Pune and attracts many visitors from Mumbai. The lake is made from the backwaters of Panshet Dam. It is around 50 km from Pune city.

The firefly viewing point is usually within walking distance from the campsite. However, in some instances, if the host feels that the visibility of fireflies is better at a slightly farther location, you will be given an option to choose between the nearby spot or the distant one. In case you opt for the farther location, please note that an additional transport cost of Rs.150–Rs.200 per person may apply. We strive to provide the best experience, and the host will guide you based on where the firefly activity is most prominent during your visit.

- In case of rain, the tents are shifted under the shed area.
- All tents are allotted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- You may expect to see families & bachelors at the same place. The place is ideal for all kinds of groups.
- Washroom facilities are common for everyone.
- Bonfire is common for everyone.
- Camping is very basic in nature. One must not expect luxuries.
- Non-Veg food may not be available on certain festivals*.
- Mobile & laptop charging points not available on the campsite
- Camping is in sheds when it is raining. The location of the sheds is away from Lake.
- Listen to the instructions given by the tour organizers.

- Games like Cricket, Volleyball, Carrom & Badminton are available at a request to the vendor.
- Games may not be possible in case it is raining.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation Policy Level: Relaxed- Cancellation request made before 7 days of checkin date: Entire amount to be refunded in original mode of payment.
- Cancellation request made between 1 to 7 days of checkin date: A voucher worth the entire advance amount which can be availed on next bookings.
- Cancellation request made on or after the checkin date: Non-refundable
- Cancellation Policy is not applicable for check-in on special days such as 31st December as decided by Weekend Feels Team. Weekend Feels reserves all rights to take decision on these requests which may include 100% cancellation charges.
- Example - Let's assume your booking is for 31st January. If you put in a cancellation request before 23rd January 23:59 Hrs, 100% of booking amount is refundable in your original mode of payment. If you put in a cancellation request between 24th January 00:00 Hrs and 30th January 23:59 Hrs, 100% of booking amount is refundable in form of WeekendFeels voucher. FAQs
How to reach Panshet Dam Camping?
- You can take a bus from Swargate to Khanapur. The frequency of the bus is every 1 hour.
- From Khanapur, you can take an auto to the campsite. The auto charges Rs.600 (for upto 6 people) for one side. You can get autos till around 7:00 PM.
What if I want to add Swimming Pool Access to my package after booking?
You can always add swimming pool access to your package at an additional cost of Rs.300 per person. Timing for swimming pool is till 7:00 PM on check-in day and 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM on check-out day. Swimming costume is mandatory for both males & females. Drinks are not allowed inside the pool.
Are there water sports at Panshet Dam?
Yes, there are water sports at the Panshet Water Park, which is nearby to our campsite. Panshet Water Park offers boat rides, banana rides, kayaking, windsurfing, and much more.
What is there inside Triangle Tents?
Built on a raised platform - Triangle Tents, you get a fan, charging points and lights inside the triangle tents. These additional facilities are not there in Camping Tents.
What indoor and outdoor activities are available?
Outdoor Games like Archery, Cricket, Volleyball and Badminton and Indoor Games like Carrom and Chess are available at the campsite.
Can I park my car and /or bike at the campsite?
Private parking is available at no extra cost.
Is washroom available at Panshet Dam Camp?
Common Washroom facilities are available during the stay.
Is the campsite safe for women?
The campsite is completely safe for women & children. The campsite staff is present at the campsite at all times to assist you.
What kind of food is available?
Vegetarian, Non-Vegetarian and Jain food is available at the campsite.
What is the tentative food menu?
- Evening Snacks - Onion Pakoda/Bread Pakoda/Pav bhaji with tea/coffee

How is the mobile network at the campsite?
The mobile network is good for calling and data usage. Jio works well and Airtel rarely works.
What all games are present at the campsite?
Games like Cricket, Football, Badminton, Carom, Chess and Volleyball are available at the campsite.
We are a group of odd people. Will we have to share tents with other groups?
The tents are by default given on twin sharing basis. In case, you are a group of odd people (3,5,7,9), the last tent would be on a single-sharing basis. We won't make you share with random strangers.
What are the accommodations inside the tents?
Inside the tents, you get foam sheets, pillows, bedsheets & blankets.
Do you have a charging facility for EV cars?
Yes, we do have EV charging points for cars and bikes. Charges are Rs. 200 per hour for the same.
