Situated 130 km from Pune and 154 km from Mumbai, Malshej Ghat camping is a breathtaking experience in the western ghats of Maharashtra. Decorated with lush greenery and a wonderful climate, it is a perfect weekend expedition you certainly cannot miss. Malshej Ghat camping is a weekend getaway experience that is filled with all activities to refresh you from within. The lakeside camping includes tent stays, bonfire nights, breakfast, evening snacks, dinner, music and dance sets, live BBQ, indoor and outdoor sports, sightseeing, and so much more. The best time for Malshej Ghat camping is undoubtedly the end of rain and the beginning of winter. The weather is fascinating and makes your adventure activities a lot more fun!
The campsite is located at Pimpalgaon Joga Dam, just after the ghat area when coming from Mumbai. The campsite is before the ghat area when coming from Pune or Nashik.

- Mobile & laptop charging points are available in the common areas on the campsite.

- Games like Cricket, Volleyball, Carrom & Badminton are available at a request to the manager.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation Policy Level: Relaxed- Cancellation request made before 7 days of checkin date: Entire amount to be refunded in original mode of payment.
- Cancellation request made between 1 to 7 days of checkin date: A voucher worth the entire advance amount which can be availed on next bookings.
- Cancellation request made on or after the checkin date: Non-refundable
- Cancellation Policy is not applicable for check-in on special days such as 31st December as decided by Weekend Feels Team. Weekend Feels reserves all rights to take decision on these requests which may include 100% cancellation charges.
- Example - Let's assume your booking is for 31st January. If you put in a cancellation request before 23rd January 23:59 Hrs, 100% of booking amount is refundable in your original mode of payment. If you put in a cancellation request between 24th January 00:00 Hrs and 30th January 23:59 Hrs, 100% of booking amount is refundable in form of WeekendFeels voucher. FAQs
How to reach Malshej Ghat Camping from Mumbai?
- From Mumbai: Take a bus from Kalyan towards Malshej Ghat for Kolwadi Gaon. The campsite is at the highway itself. Get off 1.0 km before kolwadi gaon. The frequency of the bus is in every 15 minutes.
- From Pune: Take a bus from Pune to Alephata Goan. From there, change the bus and take a bus towards Mumbai.
Are there water sports at Malshej Ghat?
Yes there are water sports at Malshej Ghat. There is a boathouse 8-10 km away from our campsite that offers boating and kayaking.
Can I park my car and /or bike at the campsite?
Private parking is available at no extra cost.
Is washroom available at Malshej Ghat Camping?
Common Indian and western washroom facilities are available during the stay.
Is the campsite safe for women?
The campsite is completely safe for women & children. The campsite staff is present at the campsite at all times to assist you.
What kind of food is available?
Vegetarian, Non-Vegetarian, and Jain food is available at the campsite.
What is the tentative food menu?
- Evening Snacks - Pakode with tea/coffee
- Barbeque (Veg) - Grilled Paneer (180-200 gm)
- Barbeque (Non-Veg) - Grilled Chicken (180-200 gm)
- Dinner (Veg) - Veg bhaji, dal, sukha sabzi, rice, chapati, papad and aachar

How is the mobile network at the campsite?
The mobile network is good for calling and data usage.
What all games are present at the campsite?
Games like Badminton, Cricket, Volleyball, Football, Carom and Chess are available at the campsite.
We are a group of odd people. Will we have to share tents with other groups?
The tents are by default given on twin sharing basis. In case, you are a group of odd people (3,5,7,9), the last tent would be on a single sharing basis. We won't make you share with random strangers.
What are the accommodations inside the tents?
Inside the tents, you get foam sheets, pillows, bed sheets & blankets.
Do you have a charging facility for EV cars?
No, we don't have EV-charging points.
