The firefly viewing point is usually within walking distance from the campsite. However, in some instances, if the host feels that the visibility of fireflies is better at a slightly farther location, you will be given an option to choose between the nearby spot or the distant one. In case you opt for the farther location, please note that an additional transport cost of Rs.150–Rs.200 per person may apply. Q: How do I get to Bhandardara camping?

From Mumbai: Bhandardara is 165 km from Mumbai. Kasara station is the nearest station to Bhandardara. You can hire a private cab or a sharing cab. Sharing cab will charge around Rs.150 per person and will drop at Warangushi phata. From that phata, you can hire another sharing cab to the campsite which will charge around Rs.30 per person. The campsite is 10 minute walk from where the cab will drop you.

From Nashik: Bhandardara is 75 km from Nashik. You can take a bus from Nashik to Ghoti. From Ghoti, take a bus or sharing cab to Shendi. The campsite is 10 minute walk from where the cab will drop you.

The tents are by default given on twin sharing basis. In case, you are a group of odd people (3,5,7,9), the last tent would be on a sharing basis. We won't make you share with random strangers but you will have to share within your group.
