Overview
Karjat, a picturesque town in Maharashtra, is a paradise for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts. Just a short drive from Mumbai and Pune, this scenic destination is known for its lush green valleys, historic forts, and flowing rivers. Karjat is 70km from Mumbai and 110km from Pune.
Welcome to our secret campsite. Begin with water sports activities which include learning Kayaking, River Raft Boating, or just relaxing by swimming and body surfing. Swimmers and Non-Swimmers of all ages can participate in water sports at Karjat Camping. Life Jackets are compulsory for swimmers and non-swimmers for all water sports activities. Our lake view adventure camp is well chosen and hidden to keep it close to nature.
The tents are pitched beside the lake in a way that you get mesmerizing sunset views from your tents. We want you guys to maximize your stay at the location and enjoy all water sports and adventure activities to the fullest, so we recommend checking in on time.

From Karjat station, move towards Kadav. Just before Kadav, take a right on Tata road. Campsite is in Bhaliwadi Gaon.

- All tents are allotted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- You may expect to see families & bachelors at the same place. The place is ideal for all kinds of groups.
- Washroom facilities are common for everyone.
- Bonfire is common for everyone.
- Mobile & laptop charging points are available in the common areas on the campsite.
- Listen to the instructions given by the tour organizers.
- Do not litter
- Games like badminton are available at a request to the manager.
- Karjat is a basic, close-to-nature campsite. Please don't expect any kind of luxuries over there
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation Policy Level: Relaxed- Cancellation request made before 7 days of checkin date: Entire amount to be refunded in original mode of payment.
- Cancellation request made between 1 to 7 days of checkin date: A voucher worth the entire advance amount which can be availed on next bookings.
- Cancellation request made on or after the checkin date: Non-refundable
- Cancellation Policy is not applicable for check-in on special days such as 31st December as decided by Weekend Feels Team. Weekend Feels reserves all rights to take decision on these requests which may include 100% cancellation charges.
- Example - Let's assume your booking is for 31st January. If you put in a cancellation request before 23rd January 23:59 Hrs, 100% of booking amount is refundable in your original mode of payment. If you put in a cancellation request between 24th January 00:00 Hrs and 30th January 23:59 Hrs, 100% of booking amount is refundable in form of WeekendFeels voucher. How to reach Karjat Camping?
- Take a bus or train to Karjat station. You can easily find autos and local cabs outside the station.
- Autos charge Rs.300 for one side and can accommodate up to 3 people.
- Cabs charge Rs.500 for one side and can accommodate up to 6 people.
Is the washroom available at the campsite?
Common washroom facilities are available during the stay.
Is the campsite safe for women?
The campsite is completely safe for women & children. The staff is present at the campsite at all times to assist you.
How is the mobile network at the campsite?
The mobile network is good for calling and browsing social media. The data network is not reliable in case you want to have zoom calls or give an online exam.
What is the tentative food menu?
- Evening Snacks - Kanda Bhajiya with tea
- Breakfast - Poha or Upma with tea
- Starters (Veg) - Fried Paneer (180-200 grams)

What games are present at the campsite?
Outdoor Games like Badminton and Indoor Games like Chess, Ludo are available at the campsite.
Is Jain food available?
Yes, Jain food is available but need to be informed beforehand. Please select Jain food at the time of booking.
We are a group of odd people. Will we have to share tents with other groups?
The tents are by default given on twin sharing basis. In case, you are a group of odd people (3,5,7,9), the last tent would be on a single sharing basis. We won't make you share with random strangers.
What are the accommodations inside the tents?
Inside the tents, you get foam sheet, bedsheets, pillows & blankets.
Do you have a charging facility for EV cars?
No, we don't have EV charging points.
